Family Art and Science Night – February 15, 2012

Hi Madera families!

It’s almost time for another Family Art and Science Night at Madera!

We are excited to host Lawrence Hall of Science and their Ocean Creature Feature Festival on Wednesday, February 15th!  This program enables kids to explore creatures of the sea, and learn the various adaptations that enable diverse marine animals to survive in specific habitats.

In order to make this program happen, we are in need of volunteers!  This is always a fun event and a wonderful volunteering opportunity for parents who are not able to help out during regular school hours.

These programs are for the whole family and are funded by our wonderful Madera PTA. The event runs from 6-8 and volunteers need to show up at 5:30 for a brief orientation.

Madera Auction – April 28, 2012

Dear Madera Parents,

Preparations for our 2oth Annual Spring Auction (April 28th) are well under way. At the moment, we need dedicated volunteers to follow up with our donors. You would call or visit donors, answer their questions, and perhaps pick up their donation. Most donors have given in the past, so usually this is not complicated.
