WHAT A GREAT PIC!! Thanks so much for posting this. Hope all the kids got to see it.
It was great – most of the classes were outside to see it. Originally it was scheduled to come by around 9:30, and some classes came out then, some sat working out on the Lower Yard, and some went back in and came back out as it got nearer. I was monitoring the space shuttle’s progress and let teachers know when it was leaving Sacramento. The kids and teachers were so patient, and the kids were screaming as it roared past so close! It was truly an unforgettable moment.
